Creative Expression

Mom broke out the markers today and here are my first attempts. What do you think? A Master in the making, I'd say! I got the hang of it right away, although I liked putting the cap on and off almost as much as I liked drawing. Mom says thank god they make washable markers these days.

Happy 4th of July!

We had the best 4th of July party! Leo and Vincent and Danny all came over and we tore the place up. Oh, their parents came too, and it looked like the grown ups had fun as well...but we boys barely noticed cause we were too busy playing and eating and playing and best of all, bouncing around the jumpy house that Leo and Vincent brought over! It was the best. Here are some pictures that Mrs. Angela took of us all. I collapsed into my crib at the end of the night, and never made a peep til morning. I didn't even hear the hours of fireworks in the neighborhood that kept Mom and Dad awake.

Shopping Cart Ballet

I love my new shopping cart so much that I practically dance across the floor with it!

Sunday at Grammy and Pop Pop's

We went to Grammy and Pop Pop's on Sunday to play and have brunch. And then we went walking around and explored the golf course. Next time Grammy says we're going to sneak into the pool!

Near miss

We stopped to take a family picture on our Sunday walk and then...well look at Dad's face. He's noticing the golf ball fly through the air. It just missed us and plopped into the water. Mom had no idea 'til she heard the splash. We hightailed it off the golf course after that! Crazy golfers!

18 months old!

I'm a year and a half old! Mom and Dad keep saying they don't know where the time went. I am such a big boy these days. I want to do everything myself, like walking down the stairs, even though I'm not quite ready to. I just love exploring!

So above you see me giving Dad a hug on our way upstairs. Here's the same shot from when I was 6 weeks old (!) :
