Me and Mom

Hi everyone! Happy summer!

Feeding myself

"Yes, it is delicious."
"Hey, look at it run down my arm!"
"No, I don't need any help. Why do you ask?"

Door Game

I love the door game. Here is how you play:
  1. Open the door and try and hit Dad in the head.
  2. Knock on the window.
  3. Laugh.
  4. Run to the other side to see what's there.
  5. Squeal loudly.
  6. Run back and knock again.
  7. Laugh and yell, too.
  8. Repeat.
The best thing about this game is that you can play for hours and hours and it just never grows old.

15 months later...

Dad and I have a long tradition of reading together and one of my favorites is the zoo magazine we get. Dad got me hooked when I was 3 months old (see above). Going to the zoo is one of my all time favorite activities!

Charlie's 50th Birthday Party

We drove up to Kalamazoo for a weekend birthday party for our friend Charlie, who turned the big 5-0 this year! It was a great weekend. John and Greg came from Toronto and Meg and John came from New Hampshire and there was a big party on Saturday night. I had a big house to explore! Foster and I had fun playing together and I made fast friends with Leo the kitty. We did miss Midgie, but she is on a spectacular summer trip to China. I did so well in the car that Mom and Dad aren't nearly as scared to travel with me anymore. Happy Birthday Charlie! See some pictures of our fun time here.

Summer Weekend Fun

Mom and Dad told me that Chicago is really fun in the summer and they weren't kidding! Every weekend we've been heading out for all kinds of adventures. Click here to see some pics from a couple weekends back. First Danny and I met up at the neighborhood festival and ran all over the place, then my Nana and Papa G came over for some hugs, then we met up with the Blasko's and my girlfriend Lydia in Oak Park for the farmer's market and fresh donuts (they were fantastic) and then we met up with my cousins Alex and Sammie at Highland Park beach. I loved the water and luckily Mom does, too! Dad dipped a toe in the water and declared it "FREEZING," but Mom says that's pretty good for him.
