Captain of the Fort

I played in a fort that mom built for me this morning. You go through my front door and into the fort. The sides didn't fool me though so I snuck out to make sure everything was still as I left it.
Kitchen helper

So when Mom and Dad are in the kitchen I come right over and join them, standing right next to them, trying to open cabinets and generally making sure I'm in the way. Finally they figured out that I want to see what's going on! How else am I going to learn how to make eggplant parmesan like Daddy?
Happy Valentine's Day!

The things that go on around here when I go to sleep! Dad and Mom continued their Valentine tradition of making a fancy meal together to enjoy. This year they made sole stuffed with salmon in a saffron broth, with new potatoes and a salad of butter lettuce, endive and raddichio. They opened a bottle of Chardonnay that they got when in Sonoma while Mom was still pregnant. She could only have a sip of it then, so she really enjoyed it last night! I got a special Valentine dessert before bed -- animal crackers! Fine living, indeed.
Feed me!

I decided to feed myself last night, and did a really good job. Pumpkin's one of my very favorite things to eat. I can't get it on the spoon by myself yet, but getting the spoon to my mouth - no problem! I've been eating and eating and eating lately, Mom and Dad don't know what's going on. They don't know I got some pointers from my friend Leo F., he knows how to get it done!
Snow!

It snowed and snowed all day yesterday! Dad shoveled three times and then again this morning. I wore my snowman pj's in honor of the storm!
Tulips

Chip brought us some tulips last Friday, and I have to look at them after every single meal -- they are so beautiful!
Big boy haircut

Dad and I insisted that I get another haircut and here are the results! Mom keeps asking where her baby went. Everyone's
finally healthy around here, after three weeks of colds and the flu, and I'm back in a good mood and having lots of fun again.
