6 months old!

I turned 6 months old today! I kept hearing the word amazing today - and indeed it is amazing to think of all of the things I've learned since I joined my parents.

Goofing around with Dad

I love it when Dad and I horse around! Here's a few shots of our typical fun - he gets me sideways, upside down and in the air, and I laugh the whole time!

Teething

I've been told or at least I think I heard a ruomor that some of my teeth are here. All I know is that if you put something to nibble on in front of me I'll do whatever it takes to jam it in my mouth and gum it. Oh and I also hear I've got a healthy bite so beware if you think it'd be funny to feed me your finger!

Garden break!

The garden is growing so well this year -- check out the pretty clematis!

Silly goose!

My hair might be nicely brushed but I've still got to play - don't I look great with my tongue sticking out? I hope so because I do a lot of tongue wagging these days.

Morning playtime

Hmm...what should I grab next? So much to choose from! See more of me wriggling around on my tummy. Boy do I want to crawl!

Walking practice

Mom 'found' this walker for me and I love it. It's still a bit strange to use my feet so I love to just dangle my legs. When I do walk I use my tip toes. Since this picture was taken (mom and dad show me these pictures only when they post them on my blog) I've become much, much better using my walker to the point that I crossed the kitchen and backed dad into a corner today!

More squash please

Squash is so delicious! And I just love when Dad feeds me.

First Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, Dad! You're the best.

another new toy

I'm not so great with my legs yet so I don't quite jump much but I'm getting the hang of it. Thankfully the Jumperoo event isn't in the next olympics so I have some time to get better.

Relatives!

I met some wonderful relatives this weekend at Grammy Shelley's house. Here I am with my great great Aunt Valerie and her daughter Phyllis (Grammy's cousin), and my Grammy and mom. Aunt Valerie is my Great Grandpa Dave's sister and I had fun playing with her and Phyllis, too!

High Chair

Ok, you guys can feed me any time now. I'll just hang out til you get the 'solid food', as you call it, ready!

Turn off the sun

Dad said there isn't a light switch to turn off the sun so I'm just going to try and pull him off and put him in the closet.

Green Beans

I had my first real food today -- green beans. I loved them and gobbled them down. I figured out this spoon thing real quick...can't wait to see what food comes after green beans! See more pics of me making a mess.

More roses

Some more of Mom's roses bloomed! She takes me out to see them every morning and check on their progress. (Mom's a little bit obsessed with her roses.)

Mr. Busy

I love my new toy -- so many things to touch and drool on!

Our garden

Here's a couple of pictures of our backyard garden. I hear it was a big mess after the construction last year, but it's all fixed up now. I like sitting out here and looking at all the plants. My mom's been begging dad to get roses for years now -- and she got them! The red rose bloomed the day after she planted it.
